Southern Phoenix Football Club is the new elite representative pathway for boys and girls across Southern NSW – formed through the amalgamation of Southern Branch Football (boys) and South East Phoenix FC (girls). Get Involved – Pathways for Every Young Player

Whether your child is just beginning their football journey or ready to take the next step, Southern Phoenix offers pathways designed to help players grow with confidence.

Junior Development League

Our JDL program gives young players the perfect start to their development journey, with structured, high-quality training and weekly matches against other Football NSW development clubs. It’s ideal for motivated boys and girls ready to build strong technical foundations in a positive, supportive environment.

Youth Teams

Southern Phoenix competes in the Boys Youth League (Div 3) and Girls Youth League (Div 2), providing a pathway for players who want to challenge themselves at a higher level. With advanced coaching, purposeful training sessions and strong competition, Youth League is where players take the next step in their football growth.

Clinics

Our Skills Clinics are open to all young players looking to improve their technique, confidence and love of the game. These fun, engaging sessions focus on ball mastery, movement and game understanding – perfect for players who want extra training outside club football.
Coaching

Why Southern Phoenix – Coaching That Elevates Every Player

We feel lucky to have such amazing coaching available to kids in our local area. I thought we'd have to go to Wollongong or Sydney to allow our child to reach their potential.

At Southern Phoenix, players have access to a standard of coaching that simply isn’t possible within traditional weekend club football.

Our coaching team is selected for their experience, qualifications and commitment to long-term player development. With structured training, individual feedback, and a clear pathway across JDL and Youth League levels, players learn the game in a way that accelerates their skills, confidence and understanding.
